Posters for BFA project

A series of posters for my final BFA project at school. I'm producing posters for indie bands with three specific goals in mind: use imagery that I've created (or art directed), have concepts that are strong but not too literal, and use different and experimental techniques.

After Sunset, Mid-Winter

These are three photographs taken by some baseball fields. The color in two of the photographs was altered slightly in Photoshop, the other photo contains the color as recorded straight from the camera. Can you tell which one was not altered? Haha. A hint, color temperature is what I altered in the two.

Campus Posters (School Marketing Dollars at Work)

I worked on campus designing posters for different events, here's a few of them. I tried to experiment with different styles as much as possible, however the allotted time for working on each poster usually ranged from 20 minutes to 3 or 4 hours so there were some limits to what we could do. It was fun though.

Isolated Eastern Idaho Typography

These shots were part of a series I shot on typography. My intention was to remove typography from environmental distractions in order to reveal a strange quality or possibly an artistic beauty not easily noticed otherwise. These photographs were taken in Idaho Falls, which is a very odd place.
